Land Rover Smoothes Out Rough Terrain with IBM Grid Computing

Land Rover, the producer of the 2005 Motor Trend Sport Utility vehicle of
the Year, the Land Rover LR3/discovery, is utilizing IBM Grid-enabled PLM
solutions to generate timely and accurate information on the clash status
of its designs during pre-production.

The interface enables advanced
testbenches running in VCS NTB to drive and monitor designs running on
ZeBu at MHz speed. The interface can utilize a Synopsys Reference
Verification Methodology (RVM) transaction-level channel class
interface, enabling the upper layers of an RVM-based testbench to run
in VCS, while lower layers of the testbench and the design under test
(DUT) can be simulated in either the VCS solution or the ZeBu
platform.
A new 64-bit clustering software eases the traditionally complex
task of mapping an ASIC or SoC design into an array of FPGA devices.
"Our ZeBu platform is the only verification solution on the market
to address hardware /software integration and embedded software
validation at more than five MHz on designs exceeding 10 million ASIC
