Technology (JAIST ) has selected the new Cray XT3 massively parallel
processing (MPP) system as the main system for its high-performance
computing facility.

Cray will install the Cray XT3 system with 372 AMD Opteron processors
at the JAIST facility near Kanazawa City, Ishikawa, Japan. "Over the past decade , JAIST has built
