magnificence is brought to life through a free guided tour on May 15th
that describes the lore, legend, and history of these great works, the
memorial-park and the inspired vision of Forest Lawn founder, Doctor
Hubert Eaton, announced Forest Lawn.

This eclectic collection represents new work by 119 of the country's
foremost fine artists and will be displayed as part of the California Art
Club's 95th Annual Gold Medal Juried Exhibition from April 2 to 23.

Eaton's dream of creating a memorial-park 'filled with
towering trees, sweeping lawns, splashing fountains, beautiful
statuary, noble memorial architecture with interiors full of light and
color, and redolent of the world's best history and romances,' has
been the cornerstone of Forest Lawn for nearly 100 years ," said John
Warren, senior vice president, marketing for Forest Lawn.

The Last Supper Window , a one-of-a-kind, life-size work of
art created using original drawings that Leonardo da Vinci
used as he painted this masterpiece, and crafted by Rosa and
Cecilia Caselli -Moretti, the last great stained glass artisans
of their century. In the late-1920s and 1930s , when the Club operated out of the
Hollyhock House in Barnsdall Park, it was a catalyst for discussions on
groundbreaking efforts in art, literature, music, architecture, theatre,
and film.
