Six Flags Marine World Unveils Northern California's First Interactive Dolphin Touch and Feeding Experience


The new Caribbean-themed destination is the only place in Northern California
where guests can personally interact with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins,
southern stingrays and warm-weathered penguins. Events are scheduled in
more than 50 cities in Canada, the United States, Mexico, South America, the
Middle East and Europe, and Boston is considered THE hotspot for the campaign,
since 75% of Canada's seafood exports come through Boston and the New England
region. The Belgian government
recently banned the import and trade in sealskin, and the Italian government
has passed a resolution announcing its intention to do the same.

Specifically, Ocean Discovery has three interactive marine life
experiences, including Dolphin Encounter, Penguin Passage and Stingray Bay.
The hunt kicks into high gear later in March as sealers take to the ice
wielding clubs, hakapiks, and guns clubbing and shooting to death seals just
days or weeks of age.
