belief that women often are
ambivalent about power, a newly released
survey finds that the vast majority of businesswomen like
power and
actively pursue it.
The survey also showed that counter to recent media reports that
more women are choosing to "opt out" of high-powered careers because
of children, there were no
statistical differences between women with
children and without children in their pursuit of power
or their
attitudes towards it.
