According to the survey, most small and medium-sized
businesses don't see
how affirmative action or diversity helps their business."
The EPIC-MRA
survey polled 620 business owners, operators or managers in
southeast Michigan via telephone.
The suit claims that Tan's treatment by Dolby is part of a pattern of
gender-based discrimination
practiced by the technology giant for years. No women comprise Dolby's board of directors.
