announced the recipients of the 2005 Leaders and Achievers(TM) Scholarship
Program."
High school seniors attending schools in Comcast communities across the
country were nominated for the scholarship program by their school principals. "We're proud to continue to expand this
program that recognizes the efforts of a growing number of individual
students, all of whom are making a difference in their communities.

Each of 1,328 students -- recognized on the basis of community
service, leadership skills, positive attitude and academic achievement -- will
receive a one-time grant of $1,000 that can be used toward the student's
pursuit of higher education.
