Under this new contract The Analysis Corporation
will provide Watch-Standing services on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week basis
to the Bureau of Intelligence and Research to provide embassies, consulates
and border security officers with critical homeland security-related
information.

Since 1990, The Analysis Corporation has worked with the Department of
State in developing information support systems, staffing of analysts and on-
going maintenance for the State Department's Bureau of Intelligence and
Research.
The outreach counselors will brief servicemen and women leaving the
military about VA benefits and services available to them and their family
members. They will be hired for a three-year period.

Vet Centers have been VA's first line of contact for troops returning from
combat for every war since Vietnam. For 26 years, counselors have provided
services for the psychological and social readjustment needs of combat
veterans, and prevented possible development of more chronic and delayed forms
of war-related trauma.
