Colombo, former Prime Minister of Italy, former President of the European
Parliament and a lifetime Senator, hosted a ceremony during which Prem Rawat,
founder of The Prem Rawat Foundation, handed a check for $150,000 to Francesco
Strippoli, Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of the World Food
Programme, to help WFP in its effort to bring food aid to people in Indonesia. Strippoli: "This donation from The Prem Rawat Foundation helps fill a
very real need. For Linda Pascotto, President
of the Foundation, who attended the ceremony: "We are pleased that Prem Rawat
can present today, via his Foundation, this contribution which comes from him
personally and from the generosity of people around the world with an

Representative of Italy at the WFP; Djhar Husein, Deputy Permanent
Representative of Indonesia at the WFP; and Senator Donato Scutari.
Speaking at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Prem Rawat
recently said: "Peace needs to be in everyone's life.
