Soldiers Wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan Will Rehabilitate Through
Adaptive Sports Programs

Disabled Sports USA (DS/USA) and Wounded Warrior Project (WWP)
tomorrow will announce a partnership to provide a year-long sports and
recreation program for soldiers from all branches of the military, who
were severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Among the various free services the WWP provides are Veterans
Affairs benefits counseling and vocational training. WWP is currently working
to get legislation passed that would enable disabled veterans to have
disability insurance -- whereas now they are only eligible for life
