Science and Doctorate from Texas A +M University and Master of Science
from Colorado School of Mines. The deep sections of the core provide important
information on impact melt production, hydrothermal processes, and the shock
effects on the basement.

Abraxas Announces Election of Dr. Billingsley as President of AAPG

Billingsley joined Abraxas in 1998 as Vice
President/Exploration and is responsible for all geologic and
geophysical aspects of Abraxas' exploration and exploitation programs.
The AAPG is an international geological association with over
30,000 members, whose purpose is to advance the science of geology as
it relates to petroleum, natural gas and mineral resources.

Company, American Quasar Petroleum and Sandia Oil + Gas Corporation,
which he founded in 1983 and served as President until merging with
Abraxas.
This project will provide an increase in the value of the Chesapeake Bay
impact crater drill core.
