lowered by an average of 40 % over untreated discs. In addition to the
benefits from the friction-reducing characteristics of the Induratec
process, it outlasts commonly applied coatings of dry lubricants, it does
not substantially change the dimensions so that it can be applied to
precision parts, and it is a cost-effective, environmentally friendly
solution for today's manufacturing environment.
