The Williamsport Grand Slam Parade will take place on the streets of
downtown Williamsport prior to the first day of the Little League World
Series , on August 18, starting at 6 p. (EST) Halftime of the SEC Game

Wootten, who had more than 1,200 wins as head basketball coach at DeMatha
High School (Hyattsville, MD), serves as chairman of the selection
committee and legendary UCLA coach John Wooden, who has been involved in
the McDonald's All American Game since its inception , serves as overall
chairman of the Game and as an advisor to the selection committee.

A game using a perforated plastic golf ball and a broomstick handle designed to take the place of baseball, stickball and softball for boys and girls in playgrounds, alleys and backyards.
