Boys + Girls Clubs of Boston in taking the "I Can Achieve" pledge - a promise
to do their best every day and achieve in school.
Damon spoke to the young Boys + Girls Club of Boston members, stressing
the importance of goal-setting in school and encouraging them to take
advantage of afterschool programs like Goals for Graduation.

Club members practice goal-setting with the leadership, guidance and
encouragement of Club staff . Through this incremental goal-setting approach, members create
an action plan with daily and weekly goals -- leading to both short- and long-
term gains.
